When you came to me somehow life started. Across a lonely sea, you sailed to rescue me. No wind’s too much to change a course we’ve charted. And right here and now is where I want to be. We promised on our hearts that we’ll go on and on together. I made my pledge to you, and you made your pledge, and trusted me, And I knew, right here and now is where I want to be. You know, I can’t say if there is forever. Maybe everything we have is all there’ll ever be. I’d like to think that we’ll go on-and-on together. Just right here and now, loving you is all I need. Sometimes the water’s rough.  We keep our faces to the wind. There are days the skies erupt and try to drown us if they can. But we know, right here and now is where we want to be. Sometimes the weather’s rough.  Just keep your head up through it all. Days the skies tear-up, and lightning strikes your very soul, Keep looking for the sun.  Another wind is sure to come. And right here and now is where I want you to be. The storms go on and on, and we’ll go on with them forever. I give my heart to you, and if you give your love, and trust in me, Then it’s true, right here and now is where we’re meant to be. I want you to be with me.
